I'M GOIN'! I'M GOIN'!

The Simpsons Ride opened in 2008 at both bi-coastal Universal resorts; only now are they extending Springfield to an entire LAND.

I wonder - will the Duff they serve be alcoholic? They're leaving money on the table by not letting kids drink it, but then, serving Duff that doesn't get you drunk would be borderline-criminal.

From my understanding, they don't have to get rid of any attractions, not even Barney or the Animal Actors show. They're building Springfield on previously-unused space. The only thing they had to remove to make way for Springfield was an excruciatingly lame "international"-themed fast food eatery. Which basically

Not to mention the bigass ELB time train from BTTF3.

Actually, when you look at the history of Universal, it's downright baffling how many iconic still-well-known-today evergreen properties have been removed, but they still have the Twister attraction AND (I shit you not) a children's play area based on An American Tail: Fievel Goes West.

To be fair, the Men In Black ride is Goddamn awesome. But yeah, I'll never forgive them for replacing the old Ghostbusters show with the Twister "ride" (actually just a standing-room-only special effects show).

Sure there is, it's just down the road at Disney World. See?

"Rapey the Aborted Jew" is making me laugh about a hundred times harder than it should.

I'm Idaho!

No, Universal Orlando is indeed in Orlando. It's Disney World that's just outside of it. That's how USF can advertise itself as "Orlando's #1 Attraction!" on countless sidebars.

He didn't refuse, he just demanded more money than Universal was willing to pay. Shame, too; the original story concept for the ride was a field trip to the power plant, and they were gonna make the two huge show buildings look like the cooling towers. But of course, you'd need Burns, Smithers and Skinner for that

What song was that, btw? It sounded like a beautiful old folk song that might've been written by Bob Dylan or Simon & Garfunkel, but I Googled some of the lyrics and got no results. Is it a Creed Bratton original? Either way, it was Goddamn beautiful and I want to download it.

EVERYONE'S a sinner!

Remember, we're in the ITCHY lot!

"That day…is TONIGHT!" Seriously, tell me that's not the voice of a serial killer.

Patience.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw that Toys trailer in theaters before Aladdin. Makes sense, both being Robin Williams movies aimed at children. Aladdin was a massive success while Toys was a massive failure, so yeah, more people saw the trailer than the movie.

Season 8 might not be perfect, but it has too many absolutely stellar episodes to qualify as a disappointment. You guys haven't even mentioned "Homer Vs. The Eighteenth Amendment," "The Springfield Files," "Simpsonscalifragilisticexpiali(Annoyed Grunt)cious" or "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show." The first three
