Oh sweet lord, the flying monkeys. That's another thing early Simpsons did better than anyone else: the cutaway to a hilarious ten-second short story. Anyone can cut away to a joke, The Simpsons would BUILD on that joke until it reached its funniest possible endpoint before returning to the story.

Indeed, The Simpsons Ride is incredible. It's all about the Simpsons going to Krusty's new theme park, and it brutally and brilliantly mocks pretty much every theme park in the world. Even if you hate theme parks, It's worth plunking down the hard-earned money to go to Universal at least once in your life just to ride
