I find myself more excited for DC's movies than Marvel's because DC goes way more comic book. Marvel always insecurely treads that tightrope of reality, afraid to scare away its mainstream audience. DC doesn't care and embraces its roots. Now, I love Marvel's movies and think they're more solidly told than DC's have…

God no, there's enough unpleasantness about cultural appropriation online. Last thing I want to do is sit down and watch a show about it that's supposed to be entertaining.

Jesus, what can I say, I liked Iron Fist, just about as much I've liked the other Netflix Marvel shows. It seemed to be like it was just popular not to like it. I welcome a Season 2.

It seems like it will be extremely critical of that mentality.

I think it's good that they responded strongly immediately and with the obvious: Watch the show before you judge it.

Imagine if Batman in BvS had been established as having a code for not killing, just like in the comic books. It would have given his decision to kill Superman even more dramatic weight.

Yeah, the reveal was fine, but I don't get what Angle was so worried about.

Reminds me of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin.

They were like low-rent Stone Colds.

Kurt brings out Stephanie, and then reveals he's been having an affair with HHH.

Most likely second option. And then it turns out Jordan isn't actually Angle's son and played him.

Old school, but I wondered if the reveal would be that Kurt is having an affair with Stephanie.

"add up to a shallow exploration of prison and the havoc it actually wreaks."

Luke orders his hoodies and tees in bulk.

I don't think this show is trying to hide its over-the-topness.

Seemed purely for shock value.

I can't recall. Is Luke like this in the comics?

Oh god, those Kit-Kat commercials…

I thought that was a pretty neat touch and even managed to be menacing. But I couldn't get past him not finishing his candy bars! That's perfectly good chocolate and caramel!

The image of Cottonmouth doing this himself was great. I love that he's the kind of crime boss not afraid to personally attack his enemies with a grenade launcher.
