Is was reprinted with normal skin tones, wasn't it?

Yeah, we know. *yawn*

I know! An article that briefly got the acknowledgement of "problematic" things out of the way and actually discussed the films without paragraphs of handwringing and tut-tutting. A breath of fresh air.

BWahahahahahaha

Excellent take. It makes me want to actually see it.

That's a good "Durrrrrrr" look Charlie has going there.

So true. I like the idea that the truth lies hidden somewhere underneath all the myths, legends and agendas. For example, I think it's one of the reasons I'm so captivated by Malory's "Le Morte d'Arthur" and overall Arthurian legend. It really does feel like at the core of all that fantasy, there's some kind of truth

Thanks for pointing this out! I found another Wiki article that talks about this Yeshu, and it sounds like the information about him comes from references in the Talmud that were an attempt by Jewish writers to discredit the growing Christian movement. Fascinating read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…

So Jack and Ashi are totally gonna bang, right?

I liked Clara, too, but I think a.) It became too much about her, and b.) Her presence made Capaldi's first two series seem like a continuation of the Matt Smith era. Series 10 feels new and like Capaldi's own, and now he's on his way out.

I know Yeshua was a common name in that era; do you have a link to further info about the Yeshua you mentioned? Was this one supposed to have been a prophet, as well?

Tired I can understand, but he certainly brings more to the part all the time! He keeps getting better and better!

Does Tom Hanks play any instruments? Because if we're lucky this could turn into him guesting on "Rosalita."

I guess Netflix will just have to release Orange is the New Black a little early, thus making the hackers' "product" worthless, and of course by circumstance benefitting those of us who can't wait to watch it. ;-)

The only problem is, the show already did this with Capaldi.

I assumed Nardole would be traveling with them, so it's been a little sad that he's been left guarding the basement and making tea.

Good point, it seems like the alien subplot was forgotten. And was the sea serpent alien?

It's a sliding scale. lol

I feel like The 12th Doctor keeps forgetting to care about people on an individual level (while focused on the bigger picture), remembers compassion with the aid of his companion, and then several episodes later we're right back where we started.

True. And the historicity of Jesus is such a fascinating puzzle. There's so little evidence he even existed, yet the worldwide movement he's at the center of had to come from somewhere…
