I'm just so happy to see Kinnikuman get some love and recognition!!

Instead of dancing, the main cast all sat down for a group photo.

I expected him to come out with a top hat and a cane.

I also felt that way about Rey, but at least she has two more movies to develop into a more rounded character.

True, Rogue One doesn't take the time time to delve too deeply into any of its characters. That could be seen as a flaw, but I guess it also prevents you from getting too invested.

That's what I was thinking. Rogue One could mess kids up.

Can parents even drop kids off at the theater anymore? Don't they have to be chained together at all times?

Yeah, I feel like filmmakers THINK the CGI technology is there already but it's just not quite up to lifelike standards yet.

Yeah, I never had a problem with the Ewoks. Adorable teddy bears that are nonetheless savage and a serious threat on their own terrain against the Empire. As an adult, I do wish the Empire had done a LITTLE better in that battle, but it's not a huge deal.

I have a friend who can't help himself with spoilers. He can't contain it. He just has to tell you something, even when you plead with him not to. He hadn't seen the movie yet, and I let him know I hadn't either and was being careful about avoiding spoilers. He still had to add, "Well, I did hear someone say you

My interpretation was that he dreamed of being Jedi, but just wasn't blessed with the actual power.

Yeah, I don't know why they put so many bottomless shafts, but it IS very Star Wars!

The data reflected a 1970's idea of future tech. There's even a reference to tapes. So I didn't think it was too off-base.

Yeah, the neck of his helmet seemed too thick. I wonder what the heck was up with that?

I think Andor shot the bad guy so it was a surprise, as it looked like Jyn's number was up and it seemed Andor was dead. But yeah, it would have been more satisfying if she got to take him down. Not that it all mattered in the end, anyway.

I wonder what was reshot?

Let's hear it for Jimmy Smits/Bail Organa, who went back to Alderaan to warn his people about the war shortly before the Death Star showed up. :-(

True, it is a little odd that the merchandising has just chugged on, business as usual, even though this is a much darker Star Wars film.

I'll admit I was put off a little bit by the fact that Darth Vader didn't sound quite right. It was James Earl Jones, but obviously decades older than in the original films.

My wife and I saw the film today and teared up, too. The loss of Carrie Fisher gives an even larger emotional punch to that scene.
