That's true, and yet I'm not sure most of the western world knows of Kinnikuman (outside of Ultimate Muscle). Honestly, though, I really like Kinnikuman. It's overwhelmingly weird sometimes, but is fun, hilarious and really imaginative.

Yeah, lol, the anime is actually the sanitized version. Although Kinnikuman is all forms of messed up in either version. Example: The wrestler who meets a grisly end in both of those scenes in a Nazi who breathes poison gas at his opponents.

Kinnikuman, the Japanese wrestling cartoon upon with the old pink M.U.S.C.L.E. figures were based. Characters were killed in the ring all the time, including one poor sap who was turned into ramen noodles and eaten!

In my mind, I see all these interesting Ghost Rider storylines forming over the rest of the season. Then I remember this is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., not The Ghost Rider Show, and get impatient. I hate to admit it, but I've kind of watched this season going, "People in black suits, people in black jumpsuits, blah blah…

I prefer the look in the show, honestly. It's a fantastic design.

As much as I love the car, I still think the bike is perfect. It was a thrill to see it.

Robbie losing his powers would leave the character in a better place, but would deprive us of more adventures from an awesome Ghost Rider. I would love for both he and Blaze to show up elsewhere.

BUT, kudos to this show for making Ghost Rider supernatural and not the result of some science experiment. Thank god.

This episode brought out my continual ambivalence about Ghost Rider. Robbie is great and his scenes are the best in every episode this season. Yet when the motorcycle pulled up and we saw the Blaze Ghost Rider, I jumped out of my chair. Then when it was revealed that he gave up his power to Robbie, I was disappointed…
