Take Off Your Pants and Probe Me

And that's how Blink 182 solved the UFO mystery.

Oh god, it'll be 1967 Casino Royale all over again!!

I look forward to the next expansion, Cards Against Dan Brooks.

Next movie, Conroy will dub all of Affleck's lines.

B.G. Henne is Donald Trump's pen name. He wanted to use "B.J. Hiney" but A.V. Club had to put their foot down somewhere.

I think Bale was a good Batman for THOSE movies. He doesn't really fit into a more comic book take on Batman, which honestly I prefer.

Same here. Exactly.

Really, the weird choice to have Batman ignore his basic moral code about killing people was the only thing I didn't like about Batman in that film. Affleck otherwise nailed the Bruce Wayne/Batman portrayal. This was no doubt the truest comic book Batman we've seen in live action. Well, unless you count Adam West

You're probably joking, but I have to admit I liked Lazenby. He was a good younger Bond in love in that film. I'm not sure Connery could have pulled off that version of Bond convincingly at that point in his career. Moore would have been fine in OHMSS, though, especially since he could play serious when the rare

That's a lot of words trying to write off Kevin Smith's opinion, A.V. Club. Don't forget that a lot of people thought Affleck was a great Batman, even if they didn't like the actual movie. I feel like this site rallies against the DC Universe movies whenever it can. We get it; it's getting old.

They got Spiro again!!

I believe most of the excised Joker material shows him being violent toward Harley. I was actually glad they dumped this part of the Joker/Harley relationship in the theatrical cut. Even though they still have a twisted relationship, Joker clearly cares for Harley in ways the he didn't in Batman: The Animated Series.

"assemble this cabinet of rivals for a think-tank session on banging"

Personally, I think the first movie is much more a confection than the second two, which delved into dark places with the inevitable end of the age of piracy, trying to tame the sea, the main love interest literally losing his heart and being forcefully separated from his wife, etc. They're summer action flicks but

The Drunk Knight

Are we so sure he really is abusive and it wasn't just something said in an ugly divorce? The accusation seems enough to have damned him for a lot of people. It was downplayed by both parties in the settlement.

I stand by my belief that the first two sequels were the best part of the franchise. Complex, dark and humorous. They were epic. I still fail to see why most people dislike them. The first movie is fun, but I never adored it as much as everyone else seems to. I like it more as an opening chapter.

This already looks more promising than On Stranger Tides. Although both films share a crucial lack of Gore Verbinski.

The trend for me seems to be that stuff on my "To Watch" list keeps disappearing and never coming back. Anecdotal but frustrating. Hopefully Netflix will balance new content with old.
