I never really cared for "The Abyss" to begin with, even when it first came out I felt it was pretty overrated. Yeah, good special effects and such, but it seemed to me like a more hardcore version of "Cocoon" or something. Aslo, it pretty much was a dry run for James Cameron to start his "aliens good, humans bad"

His short story "There Will Come Soft Rains" was very haunting, a sad coda for the human race. As a child, I loved "The Martian Chronicles," "Fahrenheit 451" and "The Halloween Tree."

Don't blame the guy for creating the couch potato phenomenon. He created the remote during an era when people came home from being active all day at work and wanted to relax in front of the tube. He couldn't have foreseen future generations of people too lazy to answer a ringing phone.

All joking aside, I've liked Nick Stahl ever since "The Man Without A Face," so here's to him showing up safe and okay very soon.

He's out searching through Sin City for the Man Without A Face…

No, you're wrong. You're so very wrong.

Sweetchuck forever! Sweetchuck for life!

Police Academy 4 will always be my favorite simply because it's the most quintessential of the series in terms of cast and plot (heh, plot).

Agreed G-money. Cameron was one of the few science-fiction directors who bothered to have things like character development during an era when sci-fi basically meant explosions in the future.

"Avatar" was a fun movie but nowhere near worth all the hype it spawned. It became the highest grossing movie of all time because despite our protests to the contrary, we're all lemmings who are slaves to advertising and PR. Both pretty colors and bile fascination will always draw crowds.

Well, maybe he'll work in his "Amazon Women on the Moon" experiences. I'd love to know if any woman ever did try to use his credit card for a background check…

I have a strong desire to call everyone "pissants" and demand they "move it move it move it!"

Damon, Clooney, Pitt, Penn in "When Smug Liberals Smirk!"
George Soros gives its one limp, half-erected dick up!

You mean the same way Steven Seagal kept you safe from Bush/Connecticut/Terrorist-Drive-Watcher/Stalin/Fascism?

At least these guys still look like action heroes.

So basically, the United States is starting to become the shitty second-place market that studios release their movies to after they get their real money.

No, Michael Moore went after Charlton Heston because he needed a villain for his hatchet job of a documentary. Instead of blaming the Columbine shooter's behavior on bad parenting and a culture of bullying that went unpunished, he instead chose to go after an organization that advocates for responsible gun ownership.
