My favorite book of the year so far is American War by Omar El Akkad. It's bleak as hell, but definitely worth reading.

After I read this article yesterday, I bought and played What Remains Of Edith Finch from beginning to end. I cried a few times and I think that game will stick with me for a long time. Thanks, AV Club!

My favorite will always be Closing Time.

Finished off The Handmaid's Tale and cried a bunch, like I do pretty much every time I see an episode of that show. I am really excited for another season. Elizabeth Moss for all the awards!

Yes, I started fanning myself the second he appeared on screen!

It's the '80s. Everyone still has pubes.

I have mostly been lurking on these reviews/comments, and it's not because I have nothing to say - it's really because I have too much to say, and it all becomes jumbled in my mind even when I come to write it. There is just so much to unpack here.

Newflash, Chachi: We ALL die anyway. Sorry some of us have some fun before we go!

I mean, red wine and fish? Someone doesn't know their parings.

Erin Darke was my favorite on Good Girls Revolt - which wasn't as bad as everyone said it was, although it lacked some authenticity.

I've always wanted to meet him, and he's not getting any younger, so I figure why not? I'm going too!

Nevermind! It finally worked. Holy crap I'm going!

I'm trying to buy my ticket and it keeps saying it won't work because of "invalid or expired single use token" WTF???

I downloaded Text Message Breakup on friggin LIMEWIRE and listened to it on my iPod. Feels so dated now.

I kind of miss it. I started posting in message boards in like 2002 and I had online friends which was still considered "weird." Myspace hadn't yet died (but it was on its way) and Livejournal was still going strong. Now that everyone and their mother is on the internet, I mean it's convenient, but it just doesn't

The wrong kid died!

Honestly, I thought it was weird and not true to what we have seen of their friendship it at all. I felt like they purposefully teased us w/ the idea of Shosh and Ray getting together, only to have Ray randomly team up w/ Abigail out of nowhere. The segment of them going around Brooklyn asking people about how it used

You jest, but one of the few times I have genuinely enjoyed Marnie is the episode w/ Bobby when she kisses him. Too bad they never brought him back! And I can't imagine present-day Marnie kissing his character now anyway.

He is! I can't believe I'd never seen him in anything before this. And, oh Martha! I love her but I feel so bad for her. The actress is on Feud: Bette and Joan and I squealed when I saw her. Rhys was on a recent episode of Girls and played a total creepo and naaaailed it!

My fiancee and I have been watching The Americans - we've only just begun the fourth season. I can't recommend it enough! I was so excited to see Matthew Rhys on the last episode of Girls. He is insanely talented and a delight to watch, even when he plays total creepos.
