I absolutely hate how they're writing Ravi this season.

This is so cool. Thanks so much for sharing this and providing so much other interesting information in these comments.

No, I just think it was uncharacteristically bad writing.

Sometimes they incorporate things that they originally brought for other challenges into a design challenge. I think we've seen it before where later in the season a queen is running out of looks that she brought with her because she used some on earlier unexpected challenges.

I'm a little surprised the Dylan subplot wasn't mentioned at all, even in the Stray Observations. It really didn't work for me and definitely threw off the impact of the episode as a whole.

I'm so surprised, but I had a totally different take on Maggie this episode. I don't care that she stole the surgery (as Arizona pointed out, they all do that all the time) and I think she's actually handling her grief pretty well- getting through work before being sad after, lashing out at Jackson but pretty quickly

Thank you for pointing out the step-siblings thing. When Jackson said "We're kind of like family" I was like, "What the hell are you talking about?" Now I see the connection.

Yes! Bring back Josh! And his jealous dancing gay friend!

    YES THANK YOU

I didn't realize it was a promo at first. I thought we were back from commercial break and it was a REALLY crazy Philip disguise, and then I was confused about who the woman with him was. Very disorienting.

So I guess Rose is Sin Rostro. And Jane & Michael will definitely break up. And Jane & Raphael will definitely give a relationship a shot. And Jane & Xo's relationship will hit a rough patch when Xo finally tells her about Rogelio.

    YES, THIS. Thank you!

I'm so sad about Sheldon. My dream was a Shirley & Sheldon finale.

I think this is true, 100%. He is so fucking dismissive and demeaning toward women.

Oh man, fuck this, fuuuuuuuuck this all the way around. As a stage manager who sometimes works with performance art, let me just say "We told them we were doing performance art" does not equal "We told them we were giving someone an enema onstage and setting off a stink bomb." Also, IF YOU PUT BODILY FLUIDS ON THE

So, did Minnick go and apologize to Stephanie and take ownership for her failure to comfort and lead and teach her after that boy died? It would appear not. She screwed up big time initially, then she went to tell the boy's parents and saw that Stephanie was already doing that so… she walked away from the situation

Shirley I love you! Thanks for bringing your bright spirit and amazing food to my tv everybody week!

I agree that he's not the strongest chef, but I honestly felt like the Edna Lewis thing was sincere. He seemed genuinely inspired on that episode, and part of this challenge was to incorporate what they'd learned in Charleston, so it made total sense for him to make that connection.

Man, John has really won me over. I'm not rooting for him to win the whole thing, but I'm just so happy for him. I know this is sappy, but honestly I'm inspired by someone who can show true growth and change for the better, especially in their late-50s.

I would definitely watch it. There are a ton of great chefs and amazing food, and the NOLA setting is really fun. Just know that it ends in a very, very frustrating way.
