I didn't think I could hate Katsuji more, and then along came this episode.

The first time we see a shot from the security camera is when he's playing the gopher game. At the end of the episode we discover that the gopher game never happened, thus the security cameras don't exist.

Also, we have no idea what game Cooper was actually going to play test. Everything we saw- the simulated gopher and the horror house- was in his brain.

Yeah, why isn't there a basic background story for his character? We ended last season with Boyle & Genevieve deciding to adopt, we come back months later and they have Nikolaj. But there's never any real introduction to his character, no "He came from a Latvian orphanage and he's x years old and he speaks perfect

Does anyone have some inside knowledge on how they film LCK?

People loved to hate Marjorie? I just plain loved Marjorie.

Just posted this idea above… should've scrolled down more to see if someone else had beat me to it! Yes, I agree, they should just wait to announce the winners of each round until the very end.

Do you think it would work better if they kept the results of the head-to-head challenges a secret until the end? That way the audience would be guaranteed to see all seven courses, but the judges could also actually vote how they felt and not worry about keeping things even until the final course.

Katsuji was absolutely always this much of a dick.

I know this doesn't add anything to the discussion, but:

I don't think this rookies vs. veterans thing is working out so far. The veterans team is just so stacked, it's unfair. Something needs to be done to even the playing field, like throwing an extra twist at the veterans or "handicapping" for the rookies with something like extra cooking time or better choice of

Here's another vote for including LCK in the write-ups!

Word on the street is they're truly great friends who have put the marriage behind them.

    It is now.

Yes, but Michel and Lane have been demoted from main characters to bit players for the revival.

Well, thank goodness they cut these actually substantial scenes in favor of more and more pointless cameos from seven seasons' worth of background characters!

So far I'm pretty ambivalent toward this revival. It's lovely to spend more time in Stars Hollow with all these characters, but I don't find myself compelled to move onto the next episode after I finish the current one.

I felt like it was totally reasonable for Rory to assume she had the job already, given the way Sandee talked to her and aggressively pursued her. That being said, it wasn't acceptable for her to show up to what she thought was her first day of work without any concrete article ideas.

Generally I really liked this, but a few issues for me:
-I had a ton of trouble tracking the passage of time. Rory's in Stars Hollow! Now she's in London! Now she's in Stars Hollow! It was jarring.
-As others have said, the Paul stuff is needlessly cruel. Maybe if they'd just did the initial joke with her

I wish I could upvote this more than once.
