"Is there a better character introduction in this series than Wash with his toy dinosaurs? Let’s say it together, shall we? “Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!”
Um, yes. The introduction to Kaylee that we get later in the series! We meet her fucking the original mechanic on the floor of the ship!

I saw In The Loop before The Thick of It, and I was surprised to see how incompetent (or at least less competent) Malcolm was in The Thick of It. In In The Loop he actually WAS a sort of super-competant "Mr. Fix It," but in The Thick of It, as the reviewer says, he's often just as responsible for the fuck ups as the

I haven't seen the whole movie, but I can get his reaction: She's talking about how she did a striptease in fromt of these fratboys, and since he LIKES her, he get angry at that. He reacts sideways because he LIKES her and can't stand that she would do that. This woman that he likes is talking about some slutty thing

I do  like this show, and great lines like that are what I'm hoping for, but the show is more sitcom-like than I expected. As a huge fan of The Thick of It, this is ALMOST but not quite the UK Office to the U.S Office. Though it is FAR better than the U.S office. SO Veep is pretty great, but I wish it was less broad.

Yeah Magical Mystery Tour is unwatchable, but the soundtrack MAY be my favorite Beatles album.

"Uncannily resembles…Starship Troopers…and…Inception…fun."

I was gonna start a pool as to how quickly that quote would get posted. I win…I guess.

Yeah. I read the whole damn series (which I liked well enough) but it actually fell apart in the second book, The Drawing of the Three. Gunslinger was the best, Wizard and Glass second best, and, well, none of the others even came close, which is ironic because those are the only books without Eddie and Suzanne and

"Stranger still was the news that the latest book, The Wind Through The Keyhole, wouldn’t be a sequel, but would fit between the fourth volume, Wizard And Glass, and the fifth, The Wolves Of The Calla."
