Yep. Johnny Marr is an exceptional guitar player, whether it be rhythm or his (incendiary) solos. He's extremely talented. But I've never really "gotten" The Smiths music though. I don't like Morrissey's voice, and I find many of their songs just plain weird. Oh well.
