I agree with all of this. The review was far too critical. I would have appreciated little more reflection on the notion that this isn't HBO, it's a major network, so cutting edge dramedy doesn't really work well here. For what it is, FOTB has the makings of a hilarious, smart sitcom. Asking for something more is

"This is nice."

Parks was never a world beater (and remains that way), and The Flash is on the CW, so it isn't pulling in high numbers overall. I'm thinking this time slot could work out great.

I thought it was funny. I laughed a lot. Honestly, that's all I ask for in a sitcom on ABC.

I know, I want her to be happy, too. She's bordering on just depressing instead of depressingly funny.

Especially because it's not just anybody, too. It's Olivia fucking Pope. Certified badass in all things not related to fucking stupid love triangles.

Amazing episode, I was on the edge of my seat throughout.

Too big to guest star, even?

I'm happy something is finally going right for Abbi, by that I mean, Jeremy asking her out. But the show could just be setting her up for a massive disappointed, with plenty of cringeworthy humor…

Considering how many upvotes you got out of 43 total comments, I'd say this is a pretty original idea. It's awesome, and makes total sense.

Did everyone get a Viewer Discretion is Advised? I didn't know they did that for TV-14 shows.

haha but his cameo was fantastic. I would have loved to see Danny's reaction to Ken Burns being totally freaked out by his stalkerish behavior as a young'un.

The Kens Burns Documentary was awesome.

Yeah, I dunno, that's why I was so confused.

did you just change your avatar or is this a total mindfuck?

it's definitely the babyface more than the general immaturity of the characters he plays. Or, I guess they go hand in hand. The babyface allowed those characters to be somewhat convincing. I don't know.

That's… a good point. It was likely just a continuity/factual error.

There were holes in the victim's shirt where the tzitzit should have gone, and Sherlock noticed that. The talit katan is worn separately from the shirt.

That's very comforting, thanks. I love this show so much. Aside from Person of Interest, it's the only procedural that's appointment viewing for me. It's good to know it's hear to stay for at least another season.

is it unusual to anyone that they chose to even air an episode on Thanksgiving? Perhaps as a sign that they are not really committed to the show? I understand the season started later, but how many people are going to watch except for those for which Elementary is appointment viewing?
