Yyyup.

Porter and Dolly had a great sound - they really meshed well. And a pretty fascinating history together and apart.

Well, people knew Porter Wagoner was a little tipped. It was part of his appeal, and the murdering-your-unfaithful-girlfriend/wife/billygoat has long, long roots in southern music. But yes, I went through my "Hey, Porter Wagoner is pretty great!" phase pretty quickly - from "pretty great" to "Oh, I don't think I need

" Her hair was "meer, meer meer" - something like that?

The
blonde lady looks…wrong. Why's she keep smiling, then not, then
smiling, then not? Is she clapping, is that what she's doing with her
hands? Why is she rocking like that, is she in her happy place? What is
she doing there, does she know where she is? WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS
GODBLESSED VIDEO!!!!!!!

Thank you! I was trying to think what it was about the still up there that captured her for me. It's Naomi Watts, she doesn't really look like Diana, but there's something…ah, it IS the makeup!

A huge number of people Photoshopped into that picture.

The costume was wrong. No two ways about it, it was just…wrong.

The effects still can't be beat, mainly because they are IMO the best example of effects serving character and plot. That's definitely something that doesn't happen much anymore, but partly that's just because they're so prevalent now that they make the extraordinary seem ordinary.

He had literally not one line, not one WORD onscreen. He was one of Luthor's henchmen or scientists or whatever. It was really jarring to see him, and to never ever hear him.

Well also, in All-Star Superman, there was the whole "League of Supermen" and the Chronivore eating up time - what a great story, and series. "I can save him! I can save everybody!"

Yes, Brandon Routh's performance in that movie really made me look at him differently. Wouldn't have minded looking at him some more.

I think I'll have a great day now.

Haha, very nice! I don't think I would have noticed if it weren't for Superman Returns' overuse of it.

The grubby-looking, dull suit killed it for me. It looked dirty, and oily.

Over-use of the great main Superman theme, I thought. It made me realize that in the original movie, the main theme is only played at full-blast three times! First over the opening credits, during the still-breathtaking helicopter rescue, and over the closing credits. That's it! Pretty amazing.

Technically AND literally - "literally" fits, for once!

IMO, no it's not. I like a lot of Stephen King, and some a LOT, but I didn't feel Under The Dome was worth the effort to get through.

I just saw this today. Fuck this movie. Seriously. Fuck. This. Movie. I might never recover.

My children need wine!
