I was just now thinking that. "The Meek Shall Inherit" is a powerful powerful song, and it's a shame it's (mostly) not in the movie.

So…I understood that it was David Geffen who nixed the original DVD release. He is known for keeping a pretty tight grip on the properties he owns - that's why, for instance, "Dreamgirls" wasn't made into a movie for so long. Did he give in? Or does he not own the rights to the property anymore? I really look forward

I saw the rough footage on YouTube a few years ago, and it definitely needed to be cut down. There's a crucial difference between the show's end and the movie's original ending. Oz said at the time (and since) that in the stage show, the actors appear for a curtain call, and this cuts the bleakness of Audrey II's

I didn't mention the resemblance for over twenty years, because I knew he didn't care for Dabney Coleman. Finally, he mentioned that someone else had told him that, and I could let the secret out.

I dated a guy once who slept with a talking Jar-Jar Binks doll. Yes, he was well into adulthood. God, I hated that doll.

He looks just like my dad…almost a dead ringer.

Well to be fair, it was only one line from his first appearance, but I agree it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if continued.

I have a standing date with my tv buddy to watch this show, so I've committed to it for the duration. I do like it, but I really will be happier if and when it has a better idea of what it is, and of what's going on.

I'll probably never get over my deep, deep obsessive love for Joan Crawford. Maybe it's a gay geek thing, but I think it's more a movie geek thing. Joan continues to obsess me as I age - somehow because she seems to grow in stature with regards to movie history as the years pass.

Not for the most part, it doesn't seem like - but he really did seem to go off the deep end with Tippi Hedren.
