I would say, yes. Tommyknockers is the worst yet - though I really think Dreamcatcher is pretty up there. They both had some decent things in them but they're not rewarding reads at all.

Spacek really had an almost magic quality to her appearance. When she's frog-like Carrie, she's just about as ugly as she can possibly: bugged-out eyes, dirty hair. When she is prom-Carrie though - Jesus, she's really beautiful. One of the few movie transformations from ugly into beautiful which is successful.
