Oh, library filled with great books never written - I get it! Kind of - what's that a reference to?

There's a killer version by Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, and Dolly Parton on Harris's fine album "Evangeline" also. Emmylou had to re-record it with just her singing all the parts for the single release, though.

"We'll Meet Again" in theory/reading the lyrics does seem pretty hokey, doesn't it - but there's something about the recording that's just transcendent, at least the Vera Lynn original (I don't know the Turtles cover, but will seek it out now). When the chorus joins in…holy crap.

The pulpy, soapy fun is by far the best part of this. Also, Vanessa Williams is all kinds of terrific.

I had ants in my kitchen for awhile - they always seem to come in after it's rained. They never got into the cupboards, though, and eventually they went away on their own (I may have vacuumed them up a time or two).
