In my defence, I never started watching it.

"Be the first to comment."

I think generally (not just for this site but for others like IMDB - especially IMDB), there should be a recalculate option where you can see what scores you get if you exclude different combinations of scores, like F's and/or A's as one example (for IMDB, that would be 10's and/or 1's).

I went and saw Al Gore give a talk in Sydney back in 2007, that very presentation actually. If that man I saw on stage had been running, he would have won by miles and miles and miles. Amazing what you can do when so-called experts aren't micromanaging you to death.

User name/comment synergy.

Let's keep a sense of perspective here and remember Winnifred Burkle.

Back in the days of before Bit Torrent, I had a friend of mine in the US who used to mail me the episodes on video tape (our VCRs had NTSC converters for our PAL format as a standard feature).

Well, not exactly the same thing (or as bad, though still outrageous, hence making the situation with the Americans even more outrageous) but Orphan Black did take a bit of time just for Tatiana Maslany to get nominations with some awards shows (like the Emmys - the Golden Globes even got there first).

The fact Rob Bottin has disappeared from the special effects scene and the last credit I can find for him is a 2002 film with Matthew Perry and Elizabeth Hurley is nothing short of a scandal given his work on The Thing alone.

I remember that the special effects team on The Thing prequel (2011 - My God, was that really 5 years ago but I digress) were especially annoyed because all their hard work for creating real prosthetics for a film set just hours before the original (made in the 80s and set in the 80s) had cheap and nasty CGI slathered

So conflicted about upvoting this. Agree with what you said about Marti Noxon … but then Season 6 …

I guess it got …

Hey! Don't forget Krystal Goderitch! She may be one of the part-timers but she quickly became my favourite (no spoilers please, saving Season 4 for a chain-watch when the DVD comes out).

… and third best Sarah Connor to have worked with George R. R. Martin (he worked on Beauty and the Beast*).

Oh cool, Marti Noxon's listed. I once wrote her a letter saying how much I enjoyed "The Wish" and she wrote back to me with a very nice personal letter. Still waiting to hear back from Joss Whedon about "Doppelgangland", though.

Sometimes it's a legacy nomination for past glories.

Спасибо!

Thanks for the reminder. First CD I ever bought (Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits along with Abba's Greatest Hits) and I'm listening to Tusk *right now* because you mentioned it.

Well, there's always this pilot of a show which was very popular in many countries except any English speaking ones.

THEY BROUGHT IT ON THEMSELVES
