Dave Foley never knew what him him.

Every year's the year of Maslany(s).

Orphan Black - Tatiana Maslany (tick)

Any other Australians out there in this comment section? They called our recent election (on July 2nd) 55 days in advance which was the earliest for decades and that was soooooo loooooong a campaign you guys, I thought it would never end …

Needs more vampires?

Relying on one guy on his own is too risky, what if something happens to him? At least the movie "Air" had the sense to pair Djimon Honsou with Norman Reedus for more or less the same job.

Just a question for anyone who can answer this since I've not really seen much of this show, any reason why Pilcher just didn't build the whole complex on an uninhabited/private island? It would have been/could have been repeatedly made free of threats/other people/descendants of people.

This will end well.

Hey, how you doing, sorry you can't get through.

No, no no. He didn't start it.

I know, I got what you meant. I think after Reservoir Dogs, a lot of his films grossed over $100 million, maybe even $200 million. Even the ones that didn't were more likely to be profitable as the reported budgets were quite low relative to a lot of other films out at the time.

They really should have stepped in much sooner and shut it down if necessary. $42 million for a movie back then was insane. Especially one unlikely to make its costs back given the subject matter

Cost $9.5 million or something like that at the time, though. I remember it was massive commercially and critically.

I think one thing that never gets mentioned is that Quentin Tarantino's films almost always come in at the mid to low budget range and almost always gross a lot more than they cost.

From what I remember, it would have been quite different if Bill had had his way. Ramis, as the director did his job, which was direct. As it is, it is a classic.

Let me frame it another way. This character had one thing in common with the other character we've been talking about. So they made him disappear. I guess it could be worse, I saw a series from China called "Go Princess Go". Being that it was web-based, it snuck past the censors at the time it was released.

I could be completely wrong but I think I do get where everyone's coming from. Problem is that many of the positions held are mutually incompatible and it seems like it's gone past the point of no return.

Maybe this particular situation is that they made an assumption about how the previous person who played the part would react given what they knew about him personally and they got caught out because people are more complex than being one homogeneous grouping.

Well, given that bisexuals are really a thing, as are people who spend a lifetime in relationships of one orientation to end up as another of the opposite orientation, in Star Trek 4, Sulu could be seen to be in a new relationship with a woman because his previous marriage broke down and no further explanation needed

Don't be ridiculous. Al Gore had been a Congressman for 8 years, a Senator for 8 years and Vice President for 8 years. He would have largely continued Clinton's policies rather than taken a wrecking ball to it, especially as he was part of that administration. 24 years of federal government experience right up to
