"Still, Julia staying in her car outside the school all day to make

I'd guess it was a play on the word "cull" but it could just as easily be a mistake. Like the one in the last paragraph where she says it's Patricia's number that tantalizes the "dishes". Which should probably read "judges" or "tastebuds".

I mostly agree with Todd's review, but I will also acknowledge that he was being too hard on the show in places by using superlatives like: "hopelessly convoluted", "hopelessly problematic", "utterly unconvincing", "complete and utter failure" etc. I don't see that as being particularly balanced.

Well, Jim *did* say he didn't want to take that long (3 hours?) making Lisa happy.

drdarke, I really liked it too. But if you compare the timing, THE WEST WING was in 1999 and early '00s, the political situation wasn't as bad then. It's different now. I imagine that's (a small) part of the reason why THE NEWSROOM is the way it is.

Yes he dated Kristin Chenoweth, but I don't think it's because he didn't try to learn about modern American Christians. I think he did, and came to the conclusion that they're batshit crazy.
