You wouldn't say that if you had.

I liked Pacific Rim, oddly enough. I thought it was fun. But I have to agree with you, del Toro's 'upcoming projects' and how they always (fucking always) fall through because his budget demands a too god damn high is really starting to get on my nerves, too. I still sort of blame him that his Mountain of Madness…
Yeah. I almost turned it off after "the axe". You know, they spend money on the opening credits once and then use that for as long as the show runs. Is it too much to ask not to make it look like the graphics of a fucking Ninento 64 video game? Who's responsible for this crap?
I watched the remake for a couple of episodes and then forgot one week that it was on and never thought about it again. So yeah, not terrible I guess, but you also haven't missed out on anything memorable.
Jesus. Enlightened and Breaking Bad both ended the same year? I'm just struggling to grasp that thought - and it's only been two years.
Agreed. I never got the negative backlash the movie apparently got from critics when it was first released.
You know, I was thinking the exact same thing all while watching season four. Which is kind of ironic, because Bill Macy was the reason I started watching this show in the first place. But since they've kept him alive until now I can't help but wonder what the writers have in store for him. They must have something…
I found Kevin Spacey's performance in K-Pax wonderfully moving and always wondered why that movie didn't receive any recognition at the Oscar's.
I don't know whether he was pissed off or not (though I do recall how surprised I was that he didn't attent last year's Emmy's - at least I didn't see him on stage with the rest of the cast and crew) but in recent interviews he didn't sound particularly interested in reprising the chraracter. I don't have a source…
He reminds me of an older Idris Elba. He's also black.
The new opening isn't great or anything but to be fair, neither was the old one. It was funny intro when first introduced, but it got old pretty fast in my opinion.
"Also, Charlotte continues to be the least useful character on this show."
Even though it was a great film, I barely made it through Lorenzo's Oil. Man, I don't think I ever saw a movie that was tougher on me than that one. Even after like six or seven years since I saw it for the first - and only - time, it still gives me the chills, just thinking about it.
I was going to say the exact same thing. Plus, if you take into account the fact that the show is narrated by an off-screen adult Adam the argument that a lot of memories from 30 years ago just blend together over time is a very good one.
Of course. However, Warren said it in a fashion that kind of implied that the writers abandoned that twin-thing altogether. Or maybe I'm just interpreting too much into Warren's remark. Anyway, sorry for responding like two weeks too late.
Kelly's hight was a little bit before my time, as well, and I've been meaning to catch up with his many, many shows ever since. But considering the enormous body of work that he's created over the years I find it hard to get myself to even start.
I'm still waiting for any news regarding Family Tree which really grew to me when the show relocated to Los Angeles (not that it was bad before that).
I'm also rooting for a Hello Ladies renewal. Really funny show that has potential for becoming a real insiders' tip.
I keep realizing more and more changes that were made after the pilot got picked up to series: Weren't Hillary and Warren twins in the first episode? I remember a random remark made by Pete when they were at the hospital. But now that Warren said that he was the older one it doesn't seem that way anymore.
So, was that the first one-on-one-scene between Calamity Jane and Charlie Utter? I honestly can't remember the two of them ever having had an exchange of dialogue (as brief as it may have been).
Dana is my least favorite character on this show but she had my favorite scene in this week's episode. That look on her face when she saw Chris standing there after she hugged her mom goodbye was like "Who the fuck is that guy?". And then, after a second or two, followed by a look of awkward realisation "Oooooh……
