I don't even know what makes for a good Simpsons-Episode anymore, but this one had me laughing out loud a couple of times so I guess that's good enough for me these days.

I do. I had the exact same though when I saw that ominous look on Amber's face when she hugged Sarah at the end. Can't help but feel sorry for Sarah now even though she kind of brought that on herself.
Okay, so I'm a little late for this discussion (and maybe it was already mentioned in the comment section, so forgive me if that's the case) but did anyone else find that look on Amber's face at the end when she hugged Sarah a bit ominous? I'm not sure if I'm misconstruing anything but could it be that she and Ryan…
"There’s no reason that these two people should be hanging out other than the scenario it creates. It’s fundamental problems like this that prevent Hello Ladies from feeling fleshed-out beyond it’s stand-up roots. There has to be a reason that these two keep calling each other, and there really isn’t one."
Agreed. Boardwalk Empire is incredibly thorough and probably does a better Job than any other Show on TV currently when it comes to getting things correct concerning the German language. I guess that's the reason why this tiny error bothered the hell out of me: It seems like a rookie mistake when you consider how many…
"Wohin kennst du das?" should be "Woher kennst du das?". I hate it when stuff like that bothers me. Other than that, however, it was a terrific episode - the best of the season so far.
If I didn't know any better… but I do. So this isn't an SNL-Sketch, right?
I'm glad the M*A*S*H finale was mentioned. It was a perfect wrap for me as well.
Was just going to say that. Plus: What a shame.
Is there a minimum of episodes that must have aired in one year in order for a show to be eligable for submission in the Drama category at the Emmys? I could be completely wrong here but I think I remember reading somewhere that such a minimum is eight episodes.
I probably started the minute I was born. Here. In Germany. Where they don't normally speak English.
The same article quotes Chevy Chase and it says that he and Dan were friends again. I know I'm in the minority here but I just wish the two of them could work it out and have Chevy appear in at least a couple of episodes of season five. Bad enough that Donald Glover will only be appearing in five episodes - but to…
I'm glad they told us that "maybe" something could have happened between Dave and Penny. That statement is almost as good as a fourth season.
Have you seen"Adam's Apples"? It's a Danish film from 2005 and my personal favorite among the films I've seen with Mads Mikkelsen in them. It's available on DVD and you guys should really check it out if you love yourself some excellent dark comedy. And Mikkelsen, of course.
For some reason it saddens me thath the show missed out on an opportunity to have a moment of reconciliation between Catelyn and Jon Snow.
Thank you for this comment. I thought I was the only one who actually really liked and appreciated this final four-episode run to wrap up the Show.
I agree with most of what you have said about the three first seasons, Phil, escpecially you opinion about the third one: I have rarely seen a show where the the central…
This is just the worst news to wake up to. What a brilliant writer - he was one of a kind. R.I.P., Mr. Ebert. You will be missed.
I'm usually not a huge fand of fart jokes - but man, that scene just cracked me up.
I sometimes wonder if the Walking Dead writers analyze their own stuff as deeply as the AV-Club does.
This episode was great and my personal favorite one from the entire season with many outstanding scenes and a stunning performance by Kevin Spacey (I think he should submit this one for the Emmys when it's time for that).
