I like to think of Hemingway as "The Most Interesting Man In The World" from the Dos Equis commercials. It seemed clever and interesting at first, but now that I'm intimately familiar with the commercials, I just sort of roll my eyes whenever it comes on.

Big Fish is more about surrealistically portraying nostalgia's effect on memory, and a man's relationship with his father both as a boy and then as a man.
