We love when Dexter killed Dawkes, and here's why you should, too

Its faulty logic that Dexter "fell off" after season 4 because (Hot Take!) it was never that good from the beginning. It was just more, uh, accessible to certain audiences than some of the headier premium channel shows at the time. Hell, it even filled out CBS's schedule during the writer's strike year.

I think Werdup is more of a Commando guy. Or perhaps The Running Man.

You may see it, but you won't understand it. It would be like (if it existed at the time in its current form) the internet going crazy over a Stephen King-Mick Garris ABC miniseries. Same level of quality and everything.

I enjoy bagging on current day AV Club as much as the next person, but I think current day Vulture has it beat for being The Worst.

Boba Fett

Oh man, there's a blast from the past I hadn't thought about in a while. Some were disguised as mazes and games to lull you into even more a sense of security.

The recent Starz promos on their network have been pretty funny. The focus has been on Star Wars, their original programs and…Die Another Day (?!). Almost like whatever entry level employee that put it together didn't realize DAD wasn't a new release.

**Pours one out for Commentary Tracks of the Damned**

The visual quality on HBO blu rays is soooo good. I don't know if its because they shoot all their shows on hd video but they blow most blu ray feature films away image quality wise.

Not sure if its unique, but I'm a 33 year old "millennial" and we had a desktop computer when I was in elementary school. Granted, no one really had much use for it beyond using the encyclopedia cd-rom, like, twice a year for school reports and never getting past the first 10 minutes of Myst.

Non-regular FtWD watcher/Non-masochist who saw the last 10 minutes:

The internet got worked like a bunch of marks into giving Furious 8 a week full of free publicity, brother. The Rock comes from a family of carnies, he knows what he's doing. This was all a work.

We don't remember the same USA Network. It was always edgier than the TNT's of the world. Silk Stalkings, Up All Night airing edited adult movies, frequent airings of slasher movies on the weekends, even the more risqué pro wrestling of the late 90's. It kind of reminded me of the Spencer's Gifts of cable networks

I saw a trailer for the Magnificent 7 remake and was pretty unimpressed as I got a Young Guns/Gangster Squad vibe, that is until I saw Nic P.'s name in the credits at the end. It definitely piqued my interest in a movie that didn't look particularly great in trailer form.

Knock Knock was a pretty good 90 minute thriller. I don't expect it to go over with segments of the AV Club commentariat for….the, uh, usual reasons settling-into-middle-age Keanu Reeves brought it.

How do you know someone is a cord cutter?

Stop jizzing all over film director reactions to anonymous online letters.

The difference with this situation is that WB/DC has a deep enough roster of intellectual property that they can keep throwing at the screen in different permutations to see what connects. All Sony basically has is Spiderman (and some questionable spinoff ideas). WB/DC characters have weathered worse storms. .

WB's 2016 movie slate is a rousing success compared to 2015. Take out the (relatively modest financially) success of Fury Road and you're left with commercial and/or critical disasters like Pan, Vacation, Black Mass, Man From UNCLE, Entourage, Point Break, In the Heart of the Sea, Jupiter Ascending. Ouch.
