I would totally watch "Crosswalk Safety"

Solar eclipse! AV Club likes cops now! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!
I think McDowell has passed the torch to Charles Dance.
Leave him alone. He's rolling. He'll get to 50 likes in an hour. You know how it goes here!
The AV Club
You really, really need job, my man. So much time on your hands.
As far as I could tell, Casterly Rock was manned entirely by Lannister soldiers to say nothing of protecting the naval envoy. The desire to spare King's Landing seems to stem mostly from wanting to maintain a functional capital to rule. The Rock was a military target. Same with the Greyjoy navy which is already a…

So dragons weren't used as shock troops to clear the ramparts at Casterly Rock to reduce casualties, nor were they used to defend the fleet against the wooden Greyjoy ships. Daenerys is terrible at runing a war and the writers should have grounded the dragons through the episodes somehow.
The first 2/3 are a fine remake of spy who loved me. The space antics are a little silly. It's a more enjoyable watch than say the depressing Diamonds are Forever or the meandering OHMSS.
You had me until Texas Hold 'em!
Great song and sequence but the lack of silhouettes of beautiful women really bugs me. Come on. That's Bond 101 right there.
It gave the AV Clubs of the world room to run with snarky "What if James Bond was a woman?" pieces though! That's all that matter here.
It got people talking about Spectre for that news cycle though didn't it? Almost as if those stories were intentionally planted….
I've made my peace with the possibility of the series never being completed. A shame but, as a guy named after a Deadwood character, the pop culture world isn't always fair.
I'm not paying an extra 15 a month to my cable company for shows with no nudity and sex scenes, breh.
I liked it quite a bit. Mostly due to suspense because i figured this late in the series, a couple known characters would be taken out. I've always been surprised about how the Battle of the Blackwater got a reputation as being impressive. The land battle portion of that looked cheap as hell with two dozen extras…
The table is set for a patented HBO back-and-forth WAR! season and that makes me happy. I expect the Dany faction to strike back next week big. Its a tried and true winning formula ever since Little Carmine made that move for New York. Hope they stick with it!
Its been 18 years since it started and the cast wasn't necessarily all that young but man, it feels like Sopranos has really been hit hard by deaths to actors.
Inexplicably that was Ed Harris and Ed O'Neill in the early-mid 90's for me.
