I have a bout 100 blu-rays that I keep pretty pared down. I like to think of the box sets, in particular, as sort of evergreen "books" on the shelf. I never went too crazy in the halcyon days of dvd circa 2000 of buying up flash in pan comedies and action flicks.

I had a bunch of my rap cd's from about 1998-2004 that I just dumped in the garbage. Is the world really a better place with a scratched up Jadakiss cd out in the wild for some kid to buy?

Dylan McDermott in the first episode of American Horror Story. We're talking about tearjerkers, right?

From certain point of view, I'm glad the kingsmoot and Euron's power play were taken care of so quickly considering its more common than not for things to drag out too long on the show.

People here are going to get irrationally upset with you but I don't think you're wrong. The penis wart thing was pretty extraneous (no pun intended).

I dug the show so your mileage may vary, but the ending to the series is pretty spectacular if you're looking for a light at the end of the tunnel

See? 'Cause of the echo.

The A-Ha theme is one of my favorites. Plus that cool Pretenders song, the villain is always listening to. I really liked the producers leaning into new wave in the 80's. Orchestrated by John Barry, the soundtrack doesn't sound dated either.

Which would actually be lot like Die Another Day.

Well we found someone that would have been down for that Halle Berry-Jinx spinoff.

Tom Hiddleston's Skull Island. It can mean two things.

Well, considering SPECTRE was the most Moore-ish of the Craigs (and I mean that in a good way), it would have been perfect.

Agreed. The MI movies are the definition of "disposable entertainment". They get a little buzz for the first week of release then the franchise is forgotten for four years like clockwork.

I'd like a one-off one set in the 60's. In 2005, there was a From Russia with Love video game, that I really dug the vibe of (although some may not care for Maria Menounos being retconned into Robert Shaw's partner in crime). I'm not sure I'd say the other cold war-related media has done well enough to justify more.

Could go either way. Bond settling down with a woman and driving away with Blofield still technically in play could be a set up into an ending of On Her Majesty's Secret Service scenario to kick off the next one. Which I full expected in Spectre considering it was a kind-sorta-semi-remake of OHMSS.

Amazing shot in a great opening sequence. Although, it sorely lacked Bond landing the helicopter in the rubble to get back in bed with the woman. I have no idea how that wasn't a button on the whole scene.

I'll add a couple projects of somewhat dubious quality in which she was great. She was a perfect fit for the stylized noir universe built for the Sin City sequel and I think we were robbed of more of her and Joseph Fiennes competing to chew more scenery in more seasons of Camelot.

The cover of Tomorrow Never Knows was my first exposure to that song and it blew me away. It pre-dated the minor pop culture think piece boom for it when the original Beatles version was used in Mad Men.

Yes. I find it unlikely any AV Club writers like sports but that promo should have been posted here to receive its drubbing in the comment section. Deadspin's write up on it, though, pretty much covered all the bases

Let me put it this way, I don't think Snyder really "gets" all of the undertones of some of his movies.
