The AV Club might as well shut down the day after the show has ended. Its mission will be over.

Of course, the kneejerk reaction is to laugh at this but why not tackle the issue of Adonis facing an opponent related to his father's killer. Address the issue of Rocky not throwing in the towel during Apollo vs. Drago. The first Creed movie got the critical respect , now let Sly make it crazy again.

Definitely some disturbing things for an X-men comic. Lots of weird scatological stuff going on too like Cassandra Nova trying to force Beast to wipe himself with his doctorate. What?

Well, I'm far from an uh, X-pert, so I can't really say if I found it true to specific characters but I appreciated the stories for being written at a higher level. I'm still in the dabbling portion of checking out the old stories but I've found out that even the highly regarded Claremont 80's stuff suffers from too

Well, not just them but they'll be referred to as "rappers" in this case.

Needs more Scarface soundtrack.

Its starting to get a little depressing when I see the imdb or wikipedia birthdate for new stars.

I tapped into my even nerdier side and just finished Grant Morrison's New X-men run (with free month of Marvel Unlimited). That's some really good stuff. I like my X-Men with a hearty dose of love triangles and northeast prep school drama in addition to the team up to fight a monster aspect. Going to read Whedon's

Great avatar/comment synergy.

That's even being to generous to the other aspects.

William Fichtner's face is a sharp object. Kids shouldn't be allowed to play with it.

Kurtwood Smith. Apparently he's done "nicer" things since but his Robocop-era face fits the bill.
Michael Ironside looks more like a hardass authority figure than bad guy. Billy Drago, however, looks like the devil incarnate. I looooove his laughably 80's villain take on Frank Nitti in The Untouchables. Dropping

Parlayed them into some Sophia Bush penny stocks.

I get the sense that's she's a bit more intelligent and savvy than some of her peers.

Buying stock in Victoria Justice. She's going to have the career Nina Dobrev and Vanessa Hudgens wished they had. Yes, I have a type.

I stand corrected. I guess I was late to the party but I thought it was pretty neat.

All the cool Star Wars stuff that came out last week like Daniel Craig Stormtrooper and all those deleted scenes and this is the nonsense AV Club focuses on.

The same could be said about people that get up in arms about such a silly website.

More like if the band in question was covering The Beatles.

I really hate that first trailer with Odenkirk's Saul looking all pensive as he hears voice(overs)s in his head. Not only was it a ripoff of the trailer for the final season of the far superior Sopranos but its not even that dark or instrospective of a show.
