First they came for Robin Thicke and I did not speak out, because I was not Robin Thicke…

The only thing keeping me from being intrigued by this series is the presence of Kirkman. Hopefully, he's just an EP without much input in the writers' room.

A series about Suzy Skrew and her partner named Sasha would be perfect for Cinemax.

I only know of this guy from hip hop message boards (which are the best message boards by the way) and that song on grand theft auto 3. I don't think anyone ever willingly listened to a Sean Price song in real life.

Period shows can look stunning on blu ray. For something like Boardwalk Empire, the set and costume design really "pop". To me that's just as important if not more than making sure cgi action scenes look clear.

I think the opposite. I'm a Mad Men fan but I wouldn't call any of the sets "lavish". It would have had a much higher budget on HBO and there likely would have been more exteriors in the city.

No need to get mad about it., bro. Breaking Bad is is the chain restaurant at the end of the strip mall. Palatable food that's not going to challenge anyone.

The fact that you have a Breaking Bad inspired name is fitting and unspurprising. Breaking Bad is the TV show equivalent of eating at Applebee's or TGI Fridays while True Detective S2 is much like having a drink at a sleazy atmospheric dive bar with Conway Twitty impersonators and waitresses with scars and secrets.

Incredibly tense final hour. Loved it aside from the disappointment of Ray not making it out of the woods and the ill-conceived issue over Frank's suit,

It reminded me of Michael Mann's Miami Vice film in that respect. In that movie, it's like they built the set of Miami then only shot the back of it.

Gemma Arterton needs a new agent. She couldn't find a leading role on an actual good franchise picture to save her life. This, Clash of the Titans, and Prince of Persia. Yikes. Such a shame as I think she's one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Byzantium was an interesting film though.

I"m calling it now. People are going to feel really foolish when TD Season 2 is rediscovered in the future. If so many critics didn't have a stick up their ass about Pizzolatto, the show would be seen so much differently. So what if he's a clean cut, youngish, confident white dude. Let the man live.

I think its Trank. Kevin Smith has been rleleasing a four part podcast interview iwith him over the past few weeks and while discussing the writing/casting/production process there wasn't even a hint of anger or disappointment from him towards the studio. In fact, from the way he tells it, Fox was very good to him.

People that guessed that probably would have been dismissed as racists pre-release.

Random Soprano fact: The scene where Meadow and her college friends see the homeless lady with the newspaper up her butt was based on a real sight he saw on the subway.

I just have no idea who its for. I was of an age where I bought the new one each month in elementary school but have no interest in watching a movie about them in my 30's, let alone one starring Jack Black. I'm not aware one way or the other if they're still popular with the age 8-10 crowd.

The good news for them: Yes
The bad news: Goosebumps is also theirs

The more interesting story is how terrible a year Sony/Columbia is having. Paul Blart 2, Wedding Ringer, Pixels, Chappie, and Aloha. Ouch. Following a year that featured Annie, Robocop, Pompeii, and Amazing Spiderman 2. Double ouch.

At the very least, Beyond Thunderdome was on TNT pretty much every weekend in the late 90's. I thought surely more people would be familiar with that. Road Warrior (which got some play on USA Network) and especially Mad Max were a little harder to find out in the wild.

Yeah, I'm part of the Hot Friend Fan Club too. I'd be pretty upset if that storyline was dropped completely.
