Ageism is the last -ism still acceptable online today. It probably will be until we're the old people.

Right, one of the reasons its making so much cash is from the family audience. I remember being 10 and excitedly reading all the newspaper articles that broke down the violent scenes that were shown in the first JP before I went to see it and that was all pretty tame in comparison with mainly the villains getting

I guess this is the most relevant place to try to initiate a Jurassic World discussion since i saw it this weekend. I was suprrised at how mean spirited and nihilistic the movie was about death. (Spoilers) The seemingly endless death of the female assistant was excruciating to watch (although this character was

I'm feeling this guy's style.

The House Full O' Neckbeards in Season 2 seems like such a blatant Hail Mary to save the show by appealing to internet commentator types (present company excluded). It's probably not going to be renewed but I hope Kerry Bishe and Toby Huss in particular stay gainfully employed. They're awesome.

Great username/comment synergy here.

To Ward's credit(?), he's never exactly looked particularly young so he's not that different looking. I'm pretty sure he just materialized onto the earth as a 45 year old.

Exactly, and that makes the show even more interesting.

Considering there's going to be a Star Wars movie every year for the rest of our lives now, Jai Jai Binks is inevitable.

I had heard about that beforehand and the character came off looking much better than I expected. Whatever the problems on that movie set, it didn't come across as the director's fault. I thought it was going to be a burial of Fukunaga.

Random Thoughts:

Shout out to the hair styling department on the show. Ward and Farrell both having the long wispy hair was a great father/son touch.

The fact that there's even a debate whether or not TD is A Good Show says a lot about tv criticism in 2015.

Even though it would make sense from a narrative standpoint, I hope they don't kill off Ferdinand Lyle. That character is money.

Exactly. Pharrell produced the actual music. Thicke's vocals bear no similarity to Marvin Gaye's. And the fact that he apparently pines for his ex-wife that left him in the dust makes him a sap, not a dick.

Just splice in this scene.

Is Shea Whigham free from the shackles of network tv?

I've definitely seen worse collections of streaming movies. Most amusing is the Adventures of Tintin buried under the "All Movies" category at the bottom. Remember when there were high hopes for that to become a successful movie franchise not that long ago?

You aren't kidding. I saw the movie at a young age before I even really knew what all was going on in those scenes but that concept still came through loud and clear. It freaked me out. So dark.
