When I think of Loaded Weapon, I always think of Samuel L. Jackson walking behind that one lady mimicking her odd facial expression. Samuel L. Jackson makes everything better.

Orange is the New Black - I'm about an episode and a half away from finishing. It's been enjoyable but I think I like just about all of the side characters more than the main characters. I sympathize with the main characters but I love moments like *SPOILERS* when Crazy Eyes speaks to the scared straight kids…
I think the whole short turned out very nicely. :)
I was able to hear everything. Thanks for including the links!
That sounds great! If you don't mind me asking, was the class for your major or just for fun?
Basically, I follow all the Oscar season films, so there are many films I'm going to see but these are probably the top I want to watch.
Not too bad. Going along. Work is about to get crazy, but I'm at the clam right now. On the fun side, I'm almost done with the AFI top 100 list, although now I'm at the point where the films are getting difficult to find.
Absolutely. :)
That is a more probable explanation.
lol I imagine at that point it didn't really matter much. He'd already done the scene, so his heavy lifting was done. It's interesting that he underplays what needed adjustment, though. He either thought it was just in sections or was underplaying the problems with his own voice.
He doesn't sound too bad there. His voice isn't the strongest but it's not weak or thin by any means. I imagine the reprise of Edelweiss (during the concert) is more the part that worried Disney.
I feel like the last time I really saw Kate Mulgrew was in The Black Donnellys, which I liked quite a bit before it was quickly cancelled. I'm glad to see her back in a big way.
Even better!
I was actually hoping they would name that baby Edmund Arthur Dr. Who St. James..this would be an interesting consolation prize.
I'll have to look for that. I love how bits and pieces like that end up online. Thanks for mentioning that and posting the synopsis. :)
Ok, that's not too bad. That's closer to what I thought it should have been.
Oh, I know. I was just wondering what you thought about the end. It wasn't meant as a challenge or sarcastic. I don't actually know that many people who've seen the film. It's not one I get to discuss regularly.
I think the ending could work with just an emphasis on making it charming. if Higgins somehow expressed a little gratitude toward Eliza for coming back it would be a little better. It would just be a subtle difference.
Yeah, Higgins' "Where the devil are my slippers?" might be my least favorite closing line ever, just because of Harrison's line reading. It wasn't even charming at that point. It took my watching it when I was a bit older to realize Eliza returning wasn't actually a bad idea. I didn't want her to marry Freddie, but I…
Yes. I meant to ask for your list but then I got distracted and posted without thinking. Good deal.
