I completely agree about building tension. The part where they SPOILER took the hostages out to the firing squad as psychological torture END SPOILER actually had me in tears because I felt for those people so much.

I loved the little girl in Beasts of a Southern Wild but it always weirds me out when they give major awards (Oscars, National Board of Review nods, leg lamps) to kids. Seems like a lot of pressure to put on someone that young.
