Bullshit.
Bullshit.
I was too broke for alcoholism.
I loved the show as a kid but, more importantly, reruns of this show got me through graduate school. I'd come home from the day's humiliation and turn on the Hallmark channel or whatever the hell cable channel it was on from 99-03, and eat my bowl of cereal in blissful silence before I spent the rest of the evening…
Nothing can make up for it!
This was a great episode. It really was the one that made me fall in love with Justified — I was enjoying it up until that point, but it became fun for me then, giving me the "I'm officially requisitioning this chicken" line which I quote to this day.
I'm not a comic book person, so I don't know much about Preacher, but I'm liking the sound of this. At the very least, I'm willing to give it a chance.
I almost choked on my cracker.
.Oh I've noticed those freakishly huge hands. Lawdy lawd
I'm still mourning the loss of Justified, despite my best efforts to move on. I enjoyed the first season of The Americans, but I've had a hard time sticking with it, because it's just not fun to watch, even though I know it's a good show. I'll try to get bingey with it, since I have nothing else now.
Sweet. I trust your judgement. Thanks to you and to Dale Baines. By the way, without an episode of Justified to pick apart, I daresay I might actually be productive today.
Sold. I love Frankenstein.
Will do.
Yep. I lived in Lexington for 17 years, went to high school, college, etc there. I love southern settings too. I think you'll like Rectify.
Indeed it will. I will hardly know what to do with myself.
I was stuck at the Detroit airport last night and was on the phone with my mother so she could give me the play by play of this episode and, during our call, had that same idea about Caleb. I was like, ew, Mom, I just thought of something terrible. But I couldn't bring myself to say it out loud so I just said, oh…
Rectify is another favorite of mine. Southern setting (you're the one from KY, right?), slow burn, great acting. Last season made me cry like a baby on a regular basis.
Bates Motel is the only one that comes close to being fun like Justified was (was? :sob:), which I think is ultimately why Justified is one of my life's great loves. I mean, they funneled the amazing dialogue, acting, and everything into one hell of a good time. Justified left a hole in my soul that only coal and…
You're turning me on.
I'm not a religious woman, but I will pray that Yost can make this Viagra for lady boners happen one day. Who needs porn when you've got Gutterson firing out of the the trunk of a moving vehicle…I can't even think about it.
I may try this myself. Why the hell not? If we don't ask, the answer will always be no.
