I'm really going to miss spending what would feel like all day Wednesday hanging out with you all, particularly since I had exactly one other person to talk to about the show. I'm not the most talkative commenter either, but I thoroughly enjoyed everyone here. This show really attracted a particular type of viewer,

Indeed he is. :swoon:

I have it on my Kindle here …."'I thought I explained it to you,' Raylan said in his quiet voice. 'Boyd and I dug coal together.'"

Word. My family lived a whole bunch of places (midwest, west coast) before we settled in Lexington, Kentucky when I was 12. Up to that point, I'd never seen so much wealth anywhere we lived as I saw in the Lexington area. Beautiful place, but I had to eventually leave.

I should have known the answer was in a postmortem— I need to go back and reread those.

I actually burst into tears at my desk yesterday because I'll never know which genius writer put Duffy in a Speedo. I'd say that's my low point in my mourning process, but I suspect I will see an even lower point.

I drove down to Harlan, KY (from Washington DC) over the weekend for an advance screening of the Justified series finale. Being able to shake Graham Yost's hand and sincerely express thanks for this wonderful show will go down as the highlight of my tv watching life. I'm seriously bummed out over all this.

Wouldn't Ava know Duffy through Boyd? I haven't had enough coffee yet to remember all this correctly, but Wynn would stop by Boyd's bar in past seasons. Am I remembering that correctly? I'm not fully functional yet.

That's exactly how I took it. He knew the drill, and was just letting Barbara know that.

Loretta should Home Alone Boon's ass.

EKU alum here. I guffawed when I heard that line.

Few things would be as satisfying for me than to see Tim get to have a few minutes of glory by taking out Markham.

Very well said. Thanks for sharing your thoughts in such a great way.

Shit, I need to go find the postmortem. There goes my productivity for the morning.

I can't wait to see the Bosom Buddies resurrection

I would allow any live version of the White Stripes cover of "Jolene" to impregnate me.

With some chattering teeth and trick gum for good measure.

I don't have much to add to the commentary about this episode's magnificence (you guys have it covered very well, good work) but I will say that a) Boon scares the crap out of me and b) my biggest giggle was when Mikey unpacked Wynn Duffy, Human Clown Car of Weaponry. I wonder if he missed something?

You're right. When she shot Seabass, I thought, ok she's finally backing up the menacing grandma act. I thought the visual of her calling housekeeping with the blood splatted wall directly behind her was particularly well done.

Man I knew he looked familiar.
