Wasn't "Last Man Standing" (Bruce Willis) also a remake of this remake?

Wasn't "Last Man Standing" (Bruce Willis) also a remake of this remake?

wow. that is quite a bit more than i ever expected. explains a lot about what makes the show so hard to really connect with, IMO.

yeah, if done well, why not?

nobody gives a fuck who the killer really is anyway so maybe this is good news. now they can spend the season focusing on story lines we respect, like Holder's nefarious motivations.

I'll jump in as a Flyers fan on this thread just to say that my favorite thing about 24/7 is how much respect I get for players (and teams) I should otherwise hate. It's a neat feeling to confront because we usually spend so much time with like-minded fans creating these hateful fantasies about opposing teams.

Zaza!

yeeeaahhh, sports before religion, amirite?

man, Glad Tidings really was perfect, wasn't it? I'd never heard it before until that episode aired and now it's one of my faves.

Burn Notice?

absolutely. hockey players are the best. i grew up a hockey player in Voorhees, NJ (where the Flyers practice facility has always been and where many of the players live).

I'm diehard Flyers fan but I actually look forward to 24/7 as a way to appreciate players on the opposing team. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I find it more fun to find things i like about players i should otherwise dislike. I enjoy going through the looking glass of my own preconceived, deep-rooted sports hatreds

speaking of springsteen, says a lot about him that he doesn't have any songs that would really fit this list. the man loves his nightly 3 hour long shows.

yeah, i was hoping for more info on that. since the show was about as safe a bet as there is for multiple seasons, i'm wondering if they chose an accomplished actress for that role so they could introduce her later on down the line (flashbacks or whatever).

(SUPER SPOILER HEAVY)

i'm going to hang in there until the end, and i do agree that it's already better than The Killing in many ways, but… shows tend to trip all over themselves in the home stretch of a season, particularly in the last two episodes. they want so badly to be THE water cooler conversation of the month that they do some very

agree completely, J. it started out so uniquely, just sitting back and patiently watching how the characters act and react to the main premise set out in the very beginning.

or is it the MOST important thing?

as a PJ fan, i don't agree with much of what Puke Drugs is saying, but i dont think he's being a dick about it. i see more people reacting to him like assholes than i see him being an asshole.
