What this thread needs is a Grand-Master B gimmick poster. Or maybe just David Faustino, himself.

That doesn't sound like Ed. You sure it wasn't his evil twin brother, John Cougar Mellencamp?

I still listen to their SST albums (and Totem Pole), although not as much as I listen to Minutemen's stuff. But I'm sure they were better live, I just never got a chance to see them. Here's hoping their reunion tour brings 'em to the east coast!

Looks like it includes the Live Totem Pole EP, which is nice because I understand that it's been out of print for some time. That disc was one of my all-time best pawn shop/thrift store finds.

Having gone back and listened to the audio of that show, it's true, the band did sound great, Kurt included. I guess I was disappointed by his stage presence as much as anything. I wanted to see the wild, guitar-smashing, diving into the drums Kurt, but all he did was stand in one spot with his hair in his face for

It didn't make me spew, but I was fighting a particularly nasty flu back when Flaming Lips' "She Don't Use Jelly" was a semi-hit song and I happened to hear it on the radio one day. Just the thought of blowing my nose with a magazine and having petroleum jelly on toast intensified the feelings of my illness by 10. I

Holy Shit, that Shit was fucking Holy!!!

I think some of it was drunkish…

That could be the one thing that would make me appreciate Ghostbusters 2.

I saw the Pumpkins in '96, right before Jonathan Melvoin died and Chamberlin was kicked out of the band. I was tripping on acid and was still bored out of my mind (it didn't help that Garbage was the opener). I still like Gish and Siamese Dream, but I'll never pay to see that band again.

The worst: Flintstones and Scooby Doo (sequels to both included).

Meat Loaf is a prophet and I that you should listen to

I find it easy to believe the captain of a ship in the Navy wouldn't care for any music at all.

You misspelled Boondock Saints. And thing.

I think they might've crossed paths a time or 2…

"But going back nearly a decade, Snider has written better, deeper, and more often about everyday folks living paycheck-to-paycheck (or petty crime to petty crime) than any songwriter I can think of."

I do, loved 'em as a kid. S'mores Pop Tarts ain't bad, either.

Also good is the Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby with the pretzels in it. Perfect salty to sweet ratio.

Ah yes, little chocolate donuts + cigarettes = breakfast of champions.

Anybody here remember Powdered Donutz cereal? They were around for a couple of years in the early/mid '80s. I still remember exactly how they tasted, just like tiny powdered donuts, except they were crunchy. They had a chocolate variety too, but those weren't near as good as the powdered kind. I really wish they'd
