Whenever I see this show, I like to imagine it's all about Janitor's home life.

Seriously, it's like NASCAR's Super Bowl. And if this rain delay keeps up, the race could be competing directly with the All-Star Game and the Oscars.

Could be. I remember watching John Frusciante intentionally fuck up Under the Bridge when the Chili Peppers did SNL. Didn't realize it was an act of sabotage at the time, I just thought he sounded like shit.

I'd love to see Fucked Up on SNL, or any other show for that matter, but they fucked up when they named their band Fucked Up. How are they ever gonna win a Grammy or play the Super Bowl halftime show, or…wait, maybe that was the point.

I still have dozens of VHS tapes like that, one of which has Faith No More on the Tonight Show, from back when Angel Dust had just come out. For some reason, they let FNM do 2 songs that night, Midlife Crisis and Easy.

I liked the Black Album enough when it came out, and still do, despite the fact that they were obviously shooting for mainstream acceptance. I always harbored hopes that they would go back to making thrash epics, though, and instead they went on to hit us with those shitty Load albums. That's when Metallica lost it

I guess I'll be the one to bring up Use Your Illusion I and II. I knew a guy who owned a record store and he let me buy the albums the day before they were officially released. I was the envy of all my friends that day, I tell you. We all sat around and listened to both albums, and we pretended they were pretty good,

And shoved into a wood chipper.

You forgot to mention Metallica and those shitty Load albums.

Ghostbusters II sucked so bad, it turned me into an asshole.

Yeah, I was really disappointed with Godzilla '98, especially since I could've spent my hard earned cash to see Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which was playing in the same multiplex.

Motherfuck that, where's Aquaman??

That's pretty much the only Creed song I've ever heard that didn't make me wanna put icepicks in my earholes.

Maybe horrible is a bit harsh, but they were fucking bland. I actually saw them play once at a free show, before they started blowing up, and I ended up leaving after about 3 songs because they were so goddamn boring.

Ya know, I've never given Generation X much of a listen, maybe because the idea of Idol fronting a punk band seemed silly to me. I'm gonna reconsider that notion now, on your recommendation, and give that first album a spin.

At least you had the c.d. and not the tape, so skipping to that track was an option. But yeah, it always sucked to pay $15-$20 for an album with one or two good songs and a bunch of filler.

I wanna hate "Walkin' on the Sun", but I find myself singing along every time I hear it.

I agree with "Since You've Been Gone", insanely catchy. But Billy Idol had a handful of good tunes, mostly the hits and "Blue Highway" from Rebel Yell. However, I was unaware that Marcy Playground had any other songs.

"Supersonic" is the only Oasis song I'll ever want to hear again.

Hootie and the Blowfish were horrible, but I'll cop to liking the song "Sad Caper" from their second album. I actually bought the c.d. (used) for that track alone.
