The Coach and Wife scene is the only thing that brought this episode up from a D for me. I've given straight As to the first 4 episodes.

I'm not sure "boring" is an adjective I'd debate, but to help you understand, people confuse "groundbreaking" and "innovative" and "important" with objectively or even subjectively good. "Boring" is incredibly subjective but what is probably objective fact is that the more groundbreaking and innovative a technique

Lol, I'm just gonna copy and paste what I just replied to somebody else:

Yes, basically.

Aye, that's why you throw out that 'all critics' tab and only look at the 'top critics' tab.

That's certainly entirely possible, I'm just pointing out him being bi is also a very real possibility.

Aye, I mentioned last week that I hope they go this route and explore the repression. I brought up Kinsey in another reply here and I've firmly believed for a long time that a big part of homophobia stems from self-professed straight people not accepting their slight degree of homosexuality.

He had a pretty rapey beard,

Yes, yes they can.

Of course he's bi, though maybe that's because I'm a staunch supporter of the Kinseyian school of sexuality where almost everybody is bi. There are very few 0s and 6s out there. I'm the closest person to a 0 I've ever met and even I once had a prepubescent semi-crush-thing on another boy (though when you dig in it

Yeah, of all the heavy scenes this season that one was the heaviest for me, like, "Nooo not in front of the GF like this!"

I don't know what a Star War is or a Marvel Most Wanted, but true story: I bumped into Mr. Lindo at the O'Hare airport 'round 'bout 1999. He and the friend I was picking up after an overseas trip were both in the international terminal lost luggage booth (airplanes am I right guys?!!) just… waiting.

I know you're talkin'bout Jason's Lyric.

What did you think about the scenes of internet trolling? Accurate and realistic?

Heh, after watching the first 3 episodes I realized that I wouldn't care as long as the crime wasn't directly related to that scene, which it cleverly wasn't at all. It was actually a pretty good red herring, and as of now there isn't even the worn out angle of "kid feels angry and jealous because other kid is better

Well that's the weird thing now that I caught up; so far that opening scene hasn't played out thematically. I thought it was gonna directly lead to the kid shooting up the gymnasium but then the focus shifted. After that I didn't care about some nitpicky technical detail anymore.

Ok, so I'm only 5 minutes into the first episode, but… Please don't tell me some drama is gonna ensue from the guy not being able to defend the other guy in the basketball drill.

I agree with all of these replies, only that these negatives are not severe enough to make Pod an out an out Bad Movie, unless we're grading on a curve.

What I just typed in another reply: "…easily be the best low-budget indie horror movie ever, probably the best
smaller budget horror movie ever, and arguably one of the best horror
movies in general ever…"

Ok, coming from somebody that believes Resolution to easily be the best low-budget indie horror movie ever, probably the best smaller budget horror movie ever, and arguably one of the best horror movies in general ever…. I gotta say this is no Resolution. But, it's still solid all around. My biggest gripe might be
