millenium actress
After seeing that film I became a huge fan and sought his other works out. I have to disagree about Tokyo Godfathers though. Sure it is not Perfect Blue, but that does not mean it is flat.

thanks scott
for saving me from that mess of a movie!

Corn?
I want to hear more about that…

I liked Ghost…
but maybe that has something to do with being a girl and seeing it originally when I was ten.

Nightwatch
How can this possibly make less sense than Nightwatch?

LIVE ACTION!!!!
According to SciFi.com, this movie is going to be live action:

catwoman
I am still pushing for this movie. What was the studio thinking? What was Pitof smoking? And who thought cats moved like that? The cat vision part was priceless!

oh yeah
and I see stuff about Oprah on The Soup. Joel McHale can improve just about anything.

tv movie
Anyone remember that 80s TV movie about what would happen if a nuclear weapon was dropped here. That movie really freaked me out, but I was pretty young when I saw it. Would Jericho have been more like that if based in reality? What type of storylines would they do?

red campaign
Actually, I read a lot about the RED campaign and how the Gap refuses to say exactly how much of the proceeds are going to AIDS research. Where as other companies have been forthright about exactly how much they are and are not giving.

HOPEFULLY…
The FCC will not change the rules. Being punished for a slip of the tongue is really stupid.

i was not making a joke
and I do not think that one has to advertise donating to charity. But I do think that when you are trying to bring attention to an issue that is what is done. Look at how many people are buying those stupid RED shirts from the Gap! Sure it is tacky, but in the end it is helping someone that

FRONTLINE
Just try to find the Frontline episode on Sex Slaves. I am sure that it is on Netflix. Honestly the most heart wrenching thing that you could watch. If that does not stir you to at least donate ten bucks, you are truly disturbed. The reporter covering this was so disturbed that she and her crew even got

Are you people serious? She is a bad person because she promotes that she gives to charity? Did you ever think that if she did not promote it a lot of her fan base that she is trying to bring these issues up would not know about it. Because let's just face the fact that most Americans have no idea what is going

Oh Please!
Actually, Oprah does not give free stuff to rich housewives. I remember reading that when she gave a car to each member of her audience that she (well the people that work for her at least) arranged that the audience be filled with people that needed cars and could not afford them.

av club
All you people complaining about the line up do realize that you are not MTV's demographic right? If you were, there would be a lot more music in general and a lot less reality shows. To me this comes off like complainging about Lifetime's Sunday night line up. At least it will be one less time slot for the

The Real Joe1
What are you talking about. Everyone gave Mr. Brooks a bad review. Roeper said that it was enjoyable in a Perfect Stranger/Basic Instinct 2 sort of way. Pirates at least got a few decent reviews.

FABLES
there was an issue where one of them fought in the Civil War and wanted a chick to live so he tricked death into a bag or something. But when she went to butcher a chicken, it and none of the other animals she tried to kill would die. another important lesson I learned from comic books—Death happens for a

Jungle Fever
I am black and am not a Spike Lee fan. It is obvious from watching Jungle Fever that he has a serious problem with interracial relationships. Which is weird since I heard he lives in Fort Greene (like me) and there are shitloads of interracial relationships (like mine). His white characters are not one

DOG WHISPERER
She spawned that guy also. At least he is useful. But Dr. Phil is pretty much Montel Williams with the word Dr. in front of his name.
