Lucky You
Most reviews I saw for that one were pretty lackluster. Where as Spiderman 3 has been getting some pretty good reviews. Lucky You may end up doing really well on DVD since it is obviously not one of those "needs to be seen on the big screen" type of movies.

Children of Men
Children of Men did not do well because a lack of advertising and it was shown in very few theatres. I live in new York City and recall that only two theatres in Manhattan were showing it on opening weekend.

matrix hypothesis
I like your thinking.

i actually wanted to see this
It is based on a Swedish film that is based on a Swedish book. I heard that the original movie is pretty interesting with the whole concept of the girl being invicible to others for different reasons, but I just keep hearing bad reviews for it all around. Too bad. Maybe they will

i'm a chick…
and I did not like this show. Many of the characters were so unbelievable. Cleverness is nice, but the whole town? The main characters are likeable, but I could not stand that blonde dude Bledel's character hooked up with and decided that I had had enough of the show.

In the mood for love
Starts out with an interesting story and turns ridiculously boring. But the beauty and the music of this film make me feel that is was not a loss at all. Besides it gives a good backstory for 2046 which I definitely liked. Probably not as effective if you have not seen In the Mood for Love

aj is right
Nate was a total self righteous a-hole in the last two seasons of Six Feet Under.

wishful thinking
I also agree that Brett Ratner and I would like to add Michael Bay are movie ruiners.

blockbusters…
themselves are not what is wrong with Hollywood. It is bad movies in general. There are lots of dramas, comedies, thrillers, et cetera that do not cost a lot production wise that are total crap. Look at Perfect Stranger or Wild Hogs. Another problem is Hollywood's fear of something different

guess i was not number one after all…
One can dream though.

i'm number one!!! Yeah!!!
I read in Wired magazine that it cost so much because of all the new techniques that had to be created to animate the Sandman (I am more of a Vertigo reader so sorry if I was wrong).

A new show
Why don't they just make a new show with all the Rosie replacement nominees? That would be interesting and rather random.

Nothing But Trouble
I never saw this movie, and I think that I will just look up the Digital Underground scene on YouTube. But when are you going to do Catwoman? That movie is a total fiasco. I saw that on AMC the other day and I was just astonished that the script was even greenlit. My boyfriend accused me of

allo
I saw this movie on video on a date in ninety nine and I remember liking it. I am not sure if I would like it now, but I really would like to check it out again.

Vatican Five
Ngah, you know what the Vatican is right?

To the guy that said the battle royale comic was great
That comic really sucked. The movie was really good though. Can Beat Takeshi really appear in a terrible movie though?

I agree with the person that says good actor does not equal good person.

Von Trier
I watched The Kingdom (on IFC) in one sitting and to say the least I became a big fan and hope that The Kingdom 2 is released in the U.S. eventually. Breaking the Waves I only caught a little of. But after Dancer in the Dark it was obvious that Von Trier has some kind of problem with Americans. Dogma was

…and
it is not against their religion. It is just considered inappropriate to show affection like that in public.

Say anything
That boombox thing was creepy. That is when you call the cops.
