Christgau totally went gaga for the Ramones. He thought they were the best thing EVAR. I don't want to provoke an argument here, but I think the Ramones are tedious infantile dreck. Agreed, the first two Dio records are masterful, but Dio Sabbath is not really the same band as with Ozzy. Initially when they reformed the band with Dio they planned to use a different name. That would have been a good idea IMO. Dio Sabbath sounds nothing like Ozzy Sabbath. Both are great though.
