If I were him I'd be pissed that we don't have off-world colonies on Mars like we were promised when we were kids. Rich people weren't supposed to be stuck on Earth in 2017.

So, like Howard Hughes in reverse — burrowing down into the Earth instead of living on top of a tall building. Cool.

Your revolution is over. The bums lost. My advice is to do what your parents did: purchase the Policy Academy box set.

I suggest running the Ator, The Fighting Eagle series. There are four movies.

Jeez Louise. Only took a few brief youTube clips to remind me why back in the day I couldn't sit through more than a few minutes of these dipshits. Just awful.

Death is the ultimate gritty reboot.

And he has plenty of time to not prosecute crooked Wall Street executives. Good for him.

As an ex-President he's ended exactly as many wars as he did as President: ZERO. But he hasn't managed to start any more new ones since leaving office, so that's good.

Sounds like a parody of a comic written specifically for a planned gritty reboot after ten years. Maybe the writers are playing a long game with this comic.

Of course new comics should start funny/joyful. The inevitable gritty reboot is a non-event if you were already gritty.

I hate the idea of sensitive soft-spoken Spuds McKenzie. Spuds is a boorish hedonist. A true party animal. It's what defines him.

Christgau totally went gaga for the Ramones. He thought they were the best thing EVAR. I don't want to provoke an argument here, but I think the Ramones are tedious infantile dreck. The fact that rock critics adored the Ramones while shitting on far superior bands only hardens my disdain for rock critics.

Agreed, the first two Dio records are masterful, but Dio Sabbath is not really the same band as with Ozzy. Initially when they reformed the band with Dio they planned to use a different name. That would have been a good idea IMO. Dio Sabbath sounds nothing like Ozzy Sabbath. Both are great though.

Robert Christgau wrote some hilariously awful reviews. Of course he hated Sabbath, but he also gave Van Halen's debut album a C. That guy really had no business reviewing hard rock and metal.

I hear you, but unfortunately this is what anti-war leftists have been pushed to after eight years of watching liberals not just tolerate but actively support monstrous bloody-handed policies under Obama. Democrats nominating a proudly hawkish Hillary Clinton was the final straw for me. That showed that Democrats

Uh huh. When Obama whacked her brother(also an American citizen), Democrats just muttered about collateral damage and looked away, because Barack's a great guy. He killed kids by the bushel, but he did it with love in his heart.

Of course. In no way did I imply Trump is anti-imperialist or anti-war. He's an honest Klingon. He's too vulgar and blunt to sugar-coat it the way Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton do. Good. Let's have some plain speech at last. As an anti-war voter I consider some of my worst enemies to be glib imperial

I'm one of those filthy Green-voting hippies who retained their anti-war principles through the Obama years, and I commend Trump for his honesty in this matter. America is a goddamn bloody-handed warrior society. We are basically the Klingon Empire of our time. Let's not forget Hillary Clinton promised a war policy

Nah, it was when he became a cheerleader for permanent warfare in the Middle East. Maher is a classic Cruise Missile Liberal.

Many of us lefties who dislike Maher are not coincidentally the same ones who have never learned to like the U.S. government's post-9/11 policy of Endless War in the Middle East.
