This was just about the first of the non-traditional-model challenges I recall on this show where the models were confident about themselves and what they wanted (usually they're the Moms or something and are kind of embarrased/awkward being there.)

I'll assume you're yelling "WOOOOO!" as you type.  Topless.

@avclub-e57dbebc740250d2c4a370cf6ccb35f0:disqus Jefferson may have been hotter (hard to say when the ladies you sleep with your property), but we all know Franklin was the player of the group. He halfway won the War of Independence by sleeping with French ladies.

Prufrock is a great poem that's also a great warning.

The first thing that comes to mind for me is Edna St. Vincent Millay's Dirge Without Music, though I've always read it as more of a rant than a dirge.  I love "I know. But I do not approve."

It probably doesn't count as apocalyptic, but I've always liked Eliot's The Hollow Men (and it does tell you how the world will end.)

This is Disqus's new prisoner's dilemma layout.

Well you are the only one.

This is bullshit. He's totally ripping off that time Louis CK played a biplane.

Yeah, Tom's right.  Too bad he didn't know anyone involved in the production of the show to whom he could have voiced those concerns.

I don't know - they were just kind of there. What would a more successful version of that idea have been?
.
It gave 2 contestants who seemed like they'd been cut too soon another chance, and provided some familiar faces early in the season.  I don't think it was a great or necessary idea - and I wouldn't want them to

Yeah, I agree.  While I can't much dispute the outcome, this whole finale episode format was some game show level bullshit.

Disappointing.

no further than this?

How scrunched to the right can this get?

Yeah but you can no longer see your "likes"

I hope this isn't a Disqus "upgrade"

Yeah, in the last hour or so, Disqus just suddenly went extra sucky.

I read on KCNA that he already was the greatest host the Oscars ever had. Forever.

Something along the lines of: you get more latitude in joke telling when your jokes are funny.
