This will probably sound like grumpy old nerdery, but I think we should stop talking about how characters and backstories are different in New 52, because I don't believe anybody cares about New 52 (though I know there are people who do).  And more importantly, if we ignore it, maybe they'll fix it.

Seriously, the most unrealistic thing about the show is that if Brody were a real Congressman, his party leadership would be totally up his ass by this point for not spending enough time fundraising.

This show has made me think of 24, but mostly in that I keep thinking how funny it would be if Kiefer showed up and just started shooting everyone.
