That would be the Hollywood Center motel on Sunset Boulevard?
Not sure that it's even open anymore. It looks closed when I go by and the parking lot is torn up.

It's been done.
Back in the spring here in Los Angeles, Springsteen signed a note for a kid who missed school because he had been at his concert the night before.

Jim Rockford and his father, Rocky.

"Girls in Their Summer Clothes" would easily make my top 10, if not top 5, favorite Springsteen songs.

I, fortunately, never worked fast food when growing up.
My first "real" job, meaning one with a paycheck was at the local library.
My sisters, on the other hand, did all work in the local grocery store.

I have "Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through" on 45.

More than 100 comments and not a single, "Dental Plan!"

Sounds similar to the Rodney Bingenheimer documentary from 12 years ago, "Mayor of the Sunset Strip."

DreamWorks Animation, meaning NBCUniversal, meaning Comcast Corp., has the rights to Casper.

"L.A. Confidential."
This is my go to example of the movie being better than the book because the story gets stripped down to its core elements of the Nite Owl shooting and cuts out all that unneeded Dream a Dreamland nonsense.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama does things with his foreign policy that if they were done by a Republican, Bruce Springsteen would be calling them, well, a moron.

Will that include the episode where Moe gets a cell phone? And the one where Marge is a robot?

NO, NO, NO!

Lisa needs braces!

I wasn't even aware that Marion's bar in "Raiders" even had a name. Is there a sign for it that I have missed all these times I've seen the movie?
Fun fact: Marion wouldn't have even been allowed to own a bar in 1930s Nepal let alone even been in the country. No westerners were allowed in until about the 1950s, IIRC.

That's a real bar, though, as is The Formosa, where Exley mistakes the real Lana Turner for a whore who is cut to look like Lana Turner

Eddie Deezen!

So is what you're saying is those quotes from George Carlin aren't really George Carlin?
And Mr. Rogers never fought the Viet Cong?

Is there anyone alive out thereā€¦.TO READ MY BOOK?

I watched all of "Firefly" just a couple of weeks ago, and did cap it off by watching "Serenity." May not be available on streaming through Netflix but they do have it on disc.
