She certainly isn't now. Alicia was The Good Wife at the start of the show. That was her entire identity. Now she's so so much more than that.

To be fair, they didn't compare the entire show to "The Wire" (which has been done before and they certainly have had their share of actor overlap), but just highlighted the similarity of the two shows regarding character growth.

I don't think so. We saw some of the voting discrepancy stuff in the preview and it hasn't been brought up yet.

There are definitely skippable episodes. There's a really good list in the Hit the Fan comments. Season 2 is the best season (this one might change that, but we're only halfway) and I would watch it all except one or two episodes.

I'm with you. I think Peralta has worked really well with all of the characters. But it might be that I had such low expectations from him and the show itself that hte character and the show have been a very pleasant surprise.
