Get her words out!

Speaking of the fake animals… I know the Caged Bird in the final episode is voiced by Bryan Fuller, and imdb has Tim Minear listed as a voice for two episodes.

That's made so much funnier by the genuine anguish in her voice.

I don't think I ever noticed that hand thing before. You're right, that is legitimately amazing.

DC's been way too kill-happy recently. Someone over there must realize that a constant stream of death actually decreases its impact, right?

By that same token, it's a GREAT time to be a DC reader on a budget.

True, yes, though the Fearless Defenders are a new team (so far as I can tell), whereas the X-Men are an institution.

I like to think that the show takes place in a slightly alternate universe where, as a measure of good faith, Canada and the US have given the land on the opposite sides of Niagara Falls to each other. (Think of those bits of land being the opposite colored dots in the Yin-Yang symbol)

What?

Me too. Holy crap that made me night when she showed up.

This is one of my favorite pilots. It sets up the world, introduces all of the major characters, shows the promise of the series, and works as a stand-alone short film.

"Have a pancake"

That's such a wonderfully creepy moment.

Wonderfalls! Yes! I love this show so hard.

I thought it was good.

INT. CHILDREN’S THEATRE – DAY

Huh… what do you know? The interview did end on "Cheer Up, Hamlet."

No need to worry, the week before Dr. Bloom will start receiving cryptic single sentence warnings from inanimate objects shaped like animals. She'll be safe, although they could probably stand to be a little more direct.

"This is wine is delicious. Full bodied"
"Actually he was a little thin"
"What?"
"What?"

Tex Avery on line 4.
