You never want to hire Nick Swardson, that's like feeding a wild animal. He'll just follow you home and will refuse to go back to where you found him. Then you have to keep him, because your state has a strict "No Kill" policy and you can't find anyone to take him off your hands. So he winds up making a huge mess,

It's definitely not as raunchy as the previous two Scary Movies. You can really tell Zucker is trying to recreate Airplane (right down to actually recreating a joke), which is a less in-your-face tone.

Armond White, is that you?

It's the New Normal/American Horror Story crossover you never knew you wanted.

Flight Attendant: Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached our destination—

Bless you, Global Asylum Pictures.

Howard Johnson is right!

Classics. Nightmare-inducing classics. That last one I believe featured Mr. Sar-DOH, accent on the DOH.

I liked the show when I was a kid, I didn't realize it was damn near a masterpiece until much later.

Franko: Oh God! The fucking Phone Police! Way to take a dumb, throwaway joke and turn it into the things of nightmares.

ann03: Absolutely. That show was such a huge influence on me, even though I first watched it several years after it finished its original run.

Mr. Greene: The one where everyone starts drooling that blue stuff? That's one of my most vivid memories from the show.

Yes, yes I do. (Man, smoking on a kid's show, what will they think of next?)

I love the fact that "Longest Monday" basically uses the same structure as a horror movie.

Don't forget Are You Afraid of the Dark?, which is still incredibly effective to this day.

I think we're all lucky that Ren and Stimpy aired when it did. That magical time when Nickelodeon was still a fledgling network and would allow pretty much anything to go on air.

I remember reading some trivia about the show a few years ago, and the creator said that Helga's mom was supposed to be an alcoholic, substituting smoothies and whatnot for alcohol. It made an incredible amount of sense.

I meant no disrespect. I get antsy when shows I like are likely to get canned.

Exactly. How was that, and Happy Endings, not on this? Granted, I assume most of us are already watching them, but still. Maybe turn on the TV of everyone you know.

Well the Astors (of the Waldorf-Astoria) were descended from Germany, and Waldorf references the German town of Walldorf so… yeah, that works.
