Holy shit that song fucking sucked.  One of the first in a long line of half-assed Alice in Chains impersonators that put the final nails in the rock radio coffin.

But why didn't we check in all our other favorite characters from recent season's past?

I believe it was just a take on Poland's reputation as a drab, working class country.

Do yourselves a favor and skip the taxes episode where they use Grover Norquist as an "expert."  That's when I officially gave up on watching any episode past season 4.

Who else has young kids and assumed they were about to read a misguided screed against the goofy theme song by Ziggy Marley for the cartoon Arthur?

I also only saw four movies all year (this is what happens when you have kids) and Prometheus was one of them, and Prometheus was easily the worst of the four.

It was "settled out of court" and I don't think the terms were ever released.  It actually seemed to work out pretty well for Wire.  I probably would have never heard of them if Elastica hadn't ripped them off, and I've been a fan ever since.

This is the first comment I was looking for.  When I think Elastica I think Connection, then Car Song, then Stutter.  I thought that was an odd description.

They made an entire movie based on the premise of Awful Movies with Awesome Bands In Them.  It was called Blues Brothers 2000.
