Not touching the Cullen thing. But as far as being wooden goes, Boreanaz improved a lot as an actor over the course of BTVS, and on Angel he isn't wooden at all.

Probably 3,2,5,6,4,7,1 here. But if the first half of Season 2 was as good as the second half, then S2 would easily be my favorite season, and possibly my favorite thing of all time.

IIRC Joss was really dissatisfied with the directing in the pilot, so I suspect he chose to mention the actual director as little as possible for that reason.

I like Storyteller *because* I find Andrew annoying. It's when Annoying Andrew gets his comeuppance. I love the bit at the end when he's been forced to face reality, realizes there's nothing he can say, and just shuts the camera off.
