It's definitely worth it to keep going. Including with the rest of Season 4, if you didn't finish it. While the season's overall plot is one of the weaker ones, there are a good number of truly excellent episodes.

It's not my favorite, but I do love Season 6. And I'd put it in the same general group as seasons 2-5 for quality. Only Season 1 and Season 7 are significantly worse. (And even they are still good.)

I'd agree. NFA is definitely better than Chosen, no contest there. BTVS > Angel is a much, much closer contest, but in the end I give Buffy the prize as the origin of everything that's good in both series.
